Do Not Buy ONEPLUS X Before Read Our Important Disadvantages and Advantages Review

ONEPLUS X is other alternative for cheap and good specification smartphone, especially because this phone use Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with Quad Core 2.3 Ghz clock speed processor, for playing faster HD games, ONEPLUS X will play without lag because it have GPU Adreno 330. First Android operating system when ONEPLUS X release in the market is Android Lollipop 5.1.1.

What is Strength and Weakness for ONEPLUS X Body & LCD & Processor ?

We find advantage of ONEPLUS X body design with mix between metal and ceramic at back side of body. Base on the body, the power button and volume button are located at right side, at the same side we can find simcard slot next to small hole to open that slot using small pin. We can use dual simcard GSM-GSM, but if we use both slot then ONEPLUS X will not have additional slot for microSD. But if we use only 1 simcard slot, then slot 2 can be use for microSD external memory card with maximum 128 GB. This external microsSD maximum capacity also another strength at ONEPLUS X.

The LCD of ONEPLUS X using AMOLED for better color if comparing by standard IPS LCD screen, but some review said the display is not as good as AMOLED LCD screen which use at Samsung smartphone. The LCD screen width is 5 inches and have Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protections. However, we still recommended users to use additional screen protector, because the weakness of using Gorilla Glass version 1 until 3 still not make the LCD screen free from scratch.

The strength Qualcomm processor 801 already use at ONEPLUS X with Quad Core 2.3 Ghz clock speed. The GPU Adreno 330 also good for play 3D HD Games without lag. We really appreciate when ONEPLUS X use 3 GB RAM for more multitasking applications. Although we can find newer processor from Qualcomm but the ONEPLUS X performance is good for run most applications from Google Play Store.

 

What is Drawback /  Disadvantage of ONEPLUS X ?

Disadvantage of ONEPLUS X camera is one consideration when we compare this camera with other 13 megapixel camera from Samsung or Sony, maybe because the sensor are different and smaller at ONEPLUS X. The shutter speed is average for smartphone camera, but when we want to focus at the main object, ONEPLUS X will give fast performance for autofocus. However, using f/2.2 lens is standard for smartphone camera. If we take pictures at outdoor then we will get many perfect pictures, but if we shoot at lowlight situations then the images or photo of ONEPLUS X will become blurry or more noise. Hopefully this drawback of ONEPLUS X camera will get improvement at next firmware update.

Because this phone price is cheap if compare by its class, that is why we will not get NFC connection at ONEPLUS X to transfer files or several other communications, but some users at this day maybe still not use NFC too much, therefore this drawback will not hurt too much for ONEPLUS X users.

We also not get radio hardware at ONEPLUS X, but this disadvantages can be replace when we have good Internet connection especially with ONEPLUS X LTE capability (but some country may not support with ONEPLUS X 4G, this is other weakness for this country), using radio online will make us can listen almost all overseas radio network. All radio online can work well using 3G HSDPA as well.
