This phone is release at the first year of 2019, exactly at January 2019. XIAOMI REDMI GO is Android Go editions smartphone from Xiaomi which have cheap price and entry level specifications. It have only 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory. But do not worry to use XIAOMI REDMI GO, because like we said that this is Android Go smartphone, therefore this phone already optimized with Go version applications from Google Play Store like Youtube Go and some other Go apps that is free to download.
Drawbacks of XIAOMI REDMI GO
This phone use entry level processor Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 and have Adreno 308 dedicated GPU, but we can not play high end 3D games faster because limited GPU (graphic processor unit). For security features, this phone does not have fingerprint for protections, but we can activate screen lock pattern or password pin protections for security protections.
XIAOMI REDMI GO does not have dual camera neither at front or back camera. The rear camera use 8 megapixel and front camera use 5 megapixel. Of course XIAOMI REDMI GO does not have AI features for the camera, but we still can take good pictures at sufficient light or outdoor sun bright.

If we are looking for cheap and standar working good smartphone, then XIAOMI REDMI GO is worth to buy. Do not expect to have many applications because the internal memory and RAM is very limited. However, we still can use external memory to extend the storage using MicroSD maximum 128 GB.
